Question No. 03 1 min read

How long does carpet typically last with normal care?

It depends heavily on carpet grade, pad quality and traffic level, but a reasonable planning range for residential carpet is roughly 8 to 15 years before matting, wear or style changes make replacement the better option. Higher-traffic areas like stairs and hallways tend to show wear sooner than bedrooms.
